Master of Ceremonies
For more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving as master of ceremonies at hundreds of events, both large and intimate, for a wide range of clients.
From press conferences and award ceremonies to galas, luncheons with a princess, Christmas celebrations and intimate book launches, I adapt my approach to the character and requirements of each occasion.
A good master of ceremonies ensures that an event flows naturally, that guests remain engaged, and that the occasion unfolds as intended. Most importantly, it allows you, as the host or organizer, to focus on the many other details that deserve your attention.
Some clients prefer a precise adherence to a carefully prepared script. Others ask me to develop the speaking notes and help shape the flow and structure of the event. I am equally comfortable with either approach, and have been providing both for more than two decades.
I have served as master of ceremonies in English, as well as in both French and English, for clients including:
-
The City of Ottawa
-
AMJ Campbell
-
The Ottawa Book Awards
-
The National Capital Commission
-
The Canadian War Museum
-
The Canadian Museum of History
-
Commissionaires
-
The Canada Aviation and Space Museum
Whether the occasion is formal or intimate, my role is to ensure that everything proceeds smoothly and with the appropriate tone. Investing in an experiences master of ceremonies makes the event memorable for the right reasons
